I once had a goldfish in a tank next to my bed. She was a very happy and healthy fish. The top of her tank was covered with a flap to open and put food in. My ssiter fed her one day and left the flap open.
The fish jumped out of the flap, landed on a piece of paper which got shoved under the bed.
After school I noticed she was gone! I said to myself 'What the...Where'd she go???'. It was left unexplained after a full cleaning of the tank without her turning up. We cleaned it and got a new fish.
2 weeks later and gues what I find under my bed while cleaning??? The paper with the dried up, shriveled fish on it! Gross!!! Well, that's my only story about fish. Nasty, huh?

sorry about your fish jumping out and dying. it happens sometimes that way. I had a fish dissappear before, but we never found it at all.

we had quite a few fish disappear; but I think it was something to do with the satisfied expression on my cat's face; the bowl was upvery high; but the cats still reached it
