just wondered if I spoil my chickens; today for lunch they had prawn heads and tails; grapes and potatoes. we found an old vineyard packed with grapes; the chicks love them:

I've never heard of feeding chickens anything but chicken feed. I'm really surprised they liked what you fed them. Maybe French chickens think they're human...............hehehe

my d ucks also had scraps when we lived in England; I buy chicken food as well; they have that morning and night but other things during the day; they love spaghetti; pasta; stawberries; cakes; in fact anything I give them:

No way, just don't like to waste food; the dogs have scraps from us and my neighbour mixed with their other food; and the cats usually get a look in as well: all the animals like the scraps: must admit I do threaten the chickens with the pot ; but I'm sure they know I don't mean it:

had to keep them in today; the miserable old gardener reckoned they had been digging his garden up yesterday: he said if they did it again he'd make casserole out of them: I'd like to see him try and catch them.
