Just looked at the calender and realised it will soon be christmas: my neighbour has already started decorating her house; its beautiful when she is finished; I will take some pictures to show you: the council have started decorating the roundabouts in town: I love christmas; even though theres only the 4 of us:last year we spent a lot of time over our neighbours house:next week I'll make the christmas cake and the christmas pudding; we cant buy them over here so I have to have a go at making them: it was easier in the UK, just went to the shop and bought ready made: also they dont have normal christmas cards: I bought some today; but they are just like post cards: still they will have to do: Do you enjoy christmas; I'm sure you do with all your family.

Do I enjoy Christmas? OMGosh ......Yes!!! ;D I've been thinking seriously about setting up my outdoor decorations early! I usually wait until after Thanksgiving, around the 1st week of Dec. to start decorating the outside. All the stores have had Christmas stuff up since Halloween and I noticed some of the downtown areas have been decorating the streets. Here in Puyallup a Huge Christmas tree is decorated in Pioneer Park the day after Thanksgiving. A big celebration is held in honor of Christmas when all the lights are all turned on. I'd love to see some pics of your neighbors house when it's finished being decorated. I will also put a few pics of my decorations from last year up as soon as I can. I'll put the pics in the Holiday Category of the forum.

I'm so sorry malcolm if you send me a PM with your address, I can send you and Jay a Christmas card to help cheer you up! Me and pelly have exchanged Christmas cards for a couple years now! It's So nice to get a Christmas card from such a far away place like the South of France. If I sent You a card you don't have to feel obligated to send me one back, even though it would be great to get a card from you. Postage now a days is So expensive! So I would completely understand if you didn't , that would be OK.

They spoke of snow tomorrow; but now the forcast has changed;we normally get snow around the middle of January: I like to be prepared as we are quite away from the shops:last time we had a lot of snow the girls rode the horses into the village for the smaller items: looking forward to putting up the tree; but also wondering what the 4 kittens and Elvis will make of it; I can imagine them causing havoc; last year one of the bigger cats kept taking the baubles off; we found them under the settees:

Take pictures when your Snow comes, I'd love to see your girls on horseback in the snow One stupid question about the baubles you put on your tree.... are they anything like the Christmas Ornaments here?

Oh...OK...that does sound a lot like what we put on our trees I don't do tinsel though because it's very dangerous for cats...and dogs...some have been known to die from eating it

started putting up our decorations yesterday; I wonder how the kittens will react: bought all the other horses down from their summer grazing; theres snow on the mountains now and some not far from us:its nots quite so cold today; at least its above freezing: not to find some wood for the fire: trouble is the woods wet: the gendarmerie came around on saturday; someone else had complained about the dogs barking: it was a load of walkers; not locals; and Tom said they were talking loud; the dogs did bark; but not for long: they are only guarding us:hopefully my neighbour will come with me to explain this to the gendarmerie:

Of course your dogs are going to bark at them.... they think they're intruders! If the police don't understand that your dogs were just protecting you and your property... then there is something very wrong with your police department! I'm working on my Christmas decorations too! The outdoor lights and decor are the first ones I put up. It's a real job and I do it all myself (no one wants to help) except for the house lights which my hubby doesn't really want to do either, so those are put up last...after he's tired of hearing me complain about it not being done....hehehe I'll be getting my tree in a week or so to start decorating that too! Hey, check out the pics on the slide, toward the end. I have pics of my tree from last Christmas on there.
