I guess nobody here really has rats, do they? Well, I have 6. They are all show quality dumbos of varying colors. One of our girls, Keela, is pregnant. I'm a very serious breeder, so I want very serious owners. My rules are, you have to take 2 of the same sex unless you have at least 1 of the same sex already at home. You have to come see them twice (this one is excused if you live far away) so I can get to know you and you can understand rats better before you get one. We have to stay in contact and I need to be told when they is a behavioral or health related problem in your baby, for my records and maybe I can help. The fee is 15 per pair, but that varies. I live in West Jordan, UT. If you live near or are heading that way and are interested, pm me, post here, or e-mail me at ratluver_06@hotmail.com I don't have a website, but I'm learning how to do that. It's tricky. I will post pics as they grow up. They will be links to my Photobucket. Here's one of mommy, and I'm working to get one of Daddy. Dang camera, I'm not too great at the pic thing.

Sounds like you have a great little business going on there in Utah! Good for You It sure sounds like your very knowledgeable when it comes to raising rats! We don't have anyone besides you on our forum who knows much about them so if you would like to post any advice on how to care for them that would be great! The closest we have to the Rat (only because their small and furry) would be my 2 little Guinea pigs, Lucy & Sally, who aren't part of the rat family at all but part of the Beaver and Porcupine family~

OK. Babies are born! Sorry I haven't posted them until now. Life's been a little hectic. Please tell me if the pics don't work. Meesha (my little sister's rat)-female Goose (isn't that cute???) my other little sister's rat-male My rattie-female. Name suggestions??? Maybe I'll make a contest out of it! I'm kind of leaning toward Izzy. She's quite the silly character. This next pic is really funny. My dad's always joking about how they would make yummy nuggets. Keep that in mind when you look at this pic. We were cleaning their cage, so we put them in a bucket to get them out of the way. We set it on well, just look, and we just had to take this pic. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Anyone interested? I live in West Jordan, UT. You can pm me, or just post here. EDIT: If the pics don't work and you want to see them, pm me your e-mail address and I'll send them to you. They should work that way.

I'm glad the pics work! On my computer it says McAfee in a white box, so I wasn't sure you guys could see the pic.
I think a naming contest would be fun! I think the blazed one's name is going to be Izzy, but my mind can still be changed! We could also do Meesha. I think that's a pretty wierd name (my sister named her). Maybe if we come up with something really cute, she would change it.
