I would like to complain about the number of scary spiders invading my trailer. YIKES
They are big hairy and black with a red dot on their behind. We are averaging 1 a day. DOUBLE YIKES

We have been squishing them, cruel but effective.

okay, I can tell you what that is, they are called Black widows! The hairy ones that you see are the males, they are not as deadly as the females, but if you get bitten, please go to the doctor! if you see one that is not hairy, and has a big rear end, PLEASE STAY AWAY this is a female, if you get bit by a female, go to the ER IMEDIATLY! if you dont, they are VERY poisen and will kill you without treatment dont mean top be so blunt, but we have those too, we live in a trailer, they live under our concret steps, they are impossible to get rid of, we even poured gas down the steps and threw a match at it! there still there! The only thing that you can do is buy some Spider not, this is very poisen stuff, so dont breath it, and dont use it in the house, it is for outside use only. Male Black widows are pretty rare, but when you find one, there are normally more, there are not many females when there are a bunch of males, but there can be. hope that this helps! Melody

OMG! That sounds soo creepy! Tina, I sure hope those aren't what you have at your house! Wouldn't the spray be deadly to pets as well though? I don't even use slug bait in my yard for fear that my dogs, cats or even the birds and wild animals we have around here would get sick and die. We have sooo many huge ugly slugs because of all the rain but I just use a shovel to pick them up and throw them over the fence into the pasture. Yuk! Yuk! Yuk! But with spiders, I don't know what I'd do? I guess squashing them would be the only option?

ewww we used to live in a mobile home from the 70's also. we had spiders ALL THE TIME. Especially the big ones. one day my Mom saw one that, it's leg span, was as big around as the door knob! ew!! they lived in all the holes in our house, and under the trailer, and under the steps. squashing them seems to be the best bet. we used the vaccuum as well. But some of them were to strong to vaccuum up!! yikes!!
