Thanks Connie, Hope all is well with Buddy and with you. I have been swamped - but don't think I haven't been thinking about you guys. Our last show of the season is coming up next week, so of course I'm still playing catch up. We just added Lure Racing to our show agenda - for now we are still doing try-outs and practice for fun. It's an absolute blast watching the dogs take off. You'll have to make it a point to come by next year. Shim is doing great, he has grown so much - and we adopted another kitty, we named her Mystery she is gorgeous! The kids are of course back to school, so getting used to the routine again has been a bit of a challenge, but it's working out. Our son is in his first year at Middle School - the feeling is so different for me knowing he's in MS and not elementary anymore, I'm sure it will be a completely different feeling when he enters HS. Our daughter is loving 4th grade, and she has done very well this year showing our little patterdale, we are very proud of her. Hugs to all, and I hope to hear what everyone has been up to. Your Friend, Lucinda

Thanks Lucinda, Buddy, me and all my other critters are doing Very well now It turns out Buddy had a back injury from the beginning of his illness that wasn't diagnosed correctly but he's fine now after all the medications. I sure can sympathize with you on sending your son to Middle School I remember those days It's like....but he's still my baby Wait till he gets into HS ;D My kids are all grown now and my youngest son, Tad is off to College Tad's at Saint Martin's University (SMU) while his girlfriend, Laura is attending University of Washington (UW). Both kids are living in school dorms. They seem to be adjusting quite well ;D Tad pledged last week for a Fraternity called Sigma MU Cappa. Tad said they put him through stuff 'I wouldn't want to know about' for 7 grueling days Tad told me, "Mom, you wouldn't want to know what I had to do to get into this Fraternity." Well, Tad made it out of 12 boys who pledged. Out of the 12 there were 5 including Tad who hung in there till the end even though they only had maybe 10 hours of sleep in a 7 day period. Oh, I'm so happy to hear about Buddy and the rest of the critters are doing well. I am so happy for you! MS is a big change for him and us, but he's adjusting well - yeah I think I can wait for HS. I get very nervous just thinking about it. Congrats to Tad for making into the Fraternity! And congrats to them both for continuing their Education - I bet you are so proud! Oh, I just love this time of year! Everything is turning such beautiful colors! Enjoy! Have a wonderful day! Lucinda

Lucinda Sorry....I goofed on the name of the pledge.....it should be Fraternity....not Sorority Good thing I caught it and changed it because Tad has told me over and over, "Mom, it's a Fraternity, not a Sorority! Fraternity is for guys and Sorority is for girls." I need to stop forgetting that

not too bad; just line up the bowls and then each find one for themselves; usually its on of my girls who feed them as I'mm usually feeding us:I'll send a pic of some of them at feed time: 3 of them are still kittens and are with their mum in my daughters bedroom as my husband dosen't know about them yet!

Pelly, you sure are a devoted 'Animal Lover'........I applaud you for taking care of all your kitty's, horses, dogs etc. That's got to be expensive, depending on what type of kitty food your feeding and how often not to mention feeding all your other animals too! I feed my kitty's (5 now since my oldest son moved back home with his kitty) a brand of dry called 'Indoor Natural Choice' by Nutro which costs anywhere from $26 to $30 for a 20lb bag. I usually buy this every 3 wks or so and leave a couple bowls of food and water out at all times for my kitty's So.....how often do you feed 24 kitty's? Do you leave bowls of dry food and water for them at all times or just feed them once or twice a day I hope your husband is a 'Cat Lover' ;D and he's isn't upset with the 3 new baby kitty's

I usually feed them twice a day; although some of the smaller ones get extra; they usually have Friskies;a 10L bag is about 10.50€which is about £7 ; that lasts just under a week:its cheaper than in England; there it cost me £20 for 16 cats; in all I suppose its about £10 a week for them all: They also have any scraps left of our food, theres always water around ; the dogs usually pinch any food left in the bowls: but the cats are out most of the day so I expect they find other things to eat; like lizards , mice and birds: My husband does love the cats; and I know he never hurt them; just gets a bit fed up with the number we have; mind you I tell him if he dosen't like it he knows where the door is!

Sounds like all your critters are very well fed What is that cost in US $$ ? My husband says he likes all my critters too but also gets fed up with the number.....and we only have 5 cats, 2 small dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 3 tropical fish aquariums and the neighbors cows and horses.......... So, he really doesn't have any reason to complain because I take care of them all, myself ;D He knows where the door is too!
