Now the news is saying there might be foul play involved in poisoning Menu Pet Foods. They don't know how this could have happened so I thought a poll might help....at least it will give us a few ideas until we can find out what really caused this Let's just see if we are right or wrong when the truth does come out? The poll has a few answers but if you can think of any more feel free to comment. Note: Only our members will be able to vote or make a comment.

I found it to be shocking, but was also relieved at the same time because Jack eats only dry food, but this could have been worse for me if I had still had cats because I fed them wet food when they where here. And they would have no doubt all died from it.
I just cannot believe it has happened. Personally I think someone put the rat poison in the food on purpose. I do not think it was accidental at all. And to top it off it was here at a plant in my state, which really irratates me more because that person is somewhere around here.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I voted accident even though I'm beginning to think it might be on purpose! My husband Larry thinks it was terrorists! I don't know if I'd go that far but it probably was someone who definitely Hates Animals I heard on the news about one of the plants being in Kansas and thought OMGosh! This is just awful! I guess the Rat Poison came from China......how strange is that Unfortunately for my dogs and cats...they ate some of that food a few days before the Recall. I only gave them wet food once or twice a month and then they shared a packet. The dogs one and the cats one but Rooster always seemed to get the most. I called the hotline number they gave to ask questions about vet bills but was told someone would call me back with the answers and no one has yet. I still worry they are might be affected in some way but they seem fine. I know I should take them in for a checkup at least but how do you pay a vet bill for 2 dogs and 2 cats when I can't afford it and then not knowing for sure if I'd even be reimbursed for the bills??? All the remaining packets of wet food I had were on the Recall List so I took them back to Pets Mart. This is Soooo upsetting

I know it must be soooo upsetting. I would keep calling them back and be a pest about it until they do something to assist you with taking them all to the vet.
