Just had some great French hospitality; our neighbour was 40 yesterday and we were invited to her party; knowing there would be at least 30 French people and just my family I was a bit worried how things would be; No problem at all; one of the youngsters spoke brilliant english; and the others conversed with us in broken French; we had a great time; ending up with a balloon fight over the table; theres was so much food and wine on offer : much more friendly than most of the English people we left behind

Yes, the French are very hospitable people, I can attest to that having a good friend who is French ;D They love lavishing food, wine and good conversation to their guests. I'm SO glad you went to the party and had such a great time too
