Just got back from first horse show over here; Sandi got a first; and kate got a 5th;they give prizes over here; not just rosettes; its been a real scorcher so we only did the two classes; Flashy is 27yrs old and was feeling the heat; anyway, she had 34acres of grass waiting for her:

the french have plenty of competitions during the summer; the problem was the bureacracy of it all: i have written an article about registering your horses for competitions; its taken us 3 yrs to finally be able to compete; the horses had to microchipped; the girls had to take an exam and get a licence; kate is qualified to teach riding in England; we were going to shows everyweekend.still at least they've got everything they need;just have to hope the pony club will put them in their lorry:

OMGosh! I didn't realize it was that complicated competing in a horse club. Sounds like your girls have everything they need to compete ~ so What's France' problem anyway??
