Started raining here yesterday and was a balmy 35 degrees until about 9 pm when it got cold enough to freeze the rain. Then about 10 pm it began to snow. Snowed all night long, and this morning we are covered once again with ice and snow. The temps are heading back into the deep freeze again today with the temps dropping all day long. They say we will be in the teens by this afternoon, and down to single digits again tonight and for the next 3 nights. After that we should start warming back up to near normal again. I will believe it when I see and feel it. We are also expecting more snow on Thursday. The winds are really whipping out there since last night. I was awake most of the night for an unknown reason. My pills should have put me right out, but I was wide awake.
Sometimes I hate living in the middle. 100's in the summers and -0's in the winters. Why can't I find a happy medium somewhere?

Yes Tina, I hope your weather starts improving real soon too! We've had warmer temps here lately with some rain but not too bad. I'm Sooo glad we aren't having the kind of weather you and New York are. That's just awful

yesterday was glorious; up to 28c in the sun; today looks like it could be nice; frost at the moment, but clear blue sky:Tom was digging up the garden yesterday; he never did that before;but he likes the sun when its not too hot; but he hates the dull, wet and rain;

well it looks like once this morning is over with the extreme cold we have been having will finally go away. YAY it got down to -1 last night. I am starting to get sick again. My throat is giving me trouble and my lungs are giving me trouble now too. It figures just when it starts to get warmer I get sick.

I know what you mean. We're all coming down with the flu here and the sun is shinning with temps in the 50's. Not what I expected anyway being sick when the weather is finally warming up

yeah i know what you mean. i for the life of me cannot figure out how i got sick when i am at home within my walls all the time. must have gotten too stressed out and my immune system took a hit. it happens with me.
anyway it is snowing this morning. we had 2 more inches last night, not sure how much more overnight, but after today things are warming up to a more acceptable temp for me. yesterday it was so cold my toilet water froze up breifly.

Yep, we're all sick here too! I've got a bad sore throat, sneezing a lot and staring to cough. It doesn't matter if you stay in door or not because anyone who goes out or comes in can bring the bug with them. The sun is shinning bright here! It's in the 40's right now but warming up to 50's again. As far as I know there is no chance of rain today Hopefully your weather starts improving real soon too! It's hard to imagine it's still snowing this close to Spring.
