This is Seth, who I owned until march

He is belgian draft and is 8yrs old

what was he like to ride?
the only really heavy horse i've ridden has been a clydesdale. we even took her out XC. slight cheat as she was so big she never really had to jump, she could just step over

Hi noblehouse, thanks for your reply.

Actually he was a ...--- to ride. He had bilateral bone spavins and even though the vet wanted me to ride him to help them fuse, Seth had other ideas!!!
He could nap for england, and with a huge head and 73/4 inch myler bit, he was sometimes a little strong
He had a lovely 'kevin the teenager' type temperament though and i loved him to bits
He was a very large Thellwell Pony!!!

Please note though that he is NOT dead (thank goodness ), but has gone to live in the visitor centre of Horseworld in Bristol,UK.
He splits his time between the field, with his Shire buddies, and a massive barn type, half indoor/half outdoor stable in the visitor block.
I went to see him on their open day in May,and he looked great (and quite a lot bigger than I remembered.Funny thing memory!)

Oh That's a relief! I'm So glad Seth is alive

The horses out back in the pasture here go to another pasture and stable for the winter. I miss them terribly when they go the pasture is sooo empty then. Before the horses came, about 3 years ago we had cows in the pasture that I got attached to. I certainly know what it's like not to have them around anymore.......it's very sad
