42 years! That is a lifetime by some standards Congratulations for all your 42 years of marriage, that's awesome In this day & age, so many don't make it past one year!

thanks; we had a good meal out last night:tom bought me an electric chip frier and the girls a dvd and a little toy bird: our neighbours bought in some flowers and the french neighbours have invited us over on Friday for drinks:people are so much friendlier here than in the Uk: never had all this fuss mede over birthdays or anniversarys there:
