thanks very much; 42 yrs seems like a lifetime! 42 years! That is a lifetime by some standards Congratulations for all your 42 years of marriage, that's awesome In this day & age, so many don't make it past one year!

thanks; we had a good meal out last night:tom bought me an electric chip frier and the girls a dvd and a little toy bird: our neighbours bought in some flowers and the french neighbours have invited us over on Friday for drinks:people are so much friendlier here than in the Uk: never had all this fuss mede over birthdays or anniversarys there:

That sounds awesome pelly! Your So lucky to have a husband that remembers special days! ;D I'm so glad you have such good friends in neighbors there in France. Sounds like my kinda place to live, in my dreams of course

pete can't get over our neighbour; shes given him a bottle of perfume for his mum and shes getting special diabetic cake for his dad: just been trying my chip fryer; its great but I really need some shelves to keep everything: hopefully Tom has got the message now as he couldn't find room to put his cup down:

Hehehe! that's real funny about your hubby! Yeah, maybe he'll get a clue! I wish my neighbors were as nice as yours, seems I'm the only nice neighbor around here..........LOL! I'm always doing things for one in particular who isn't very grateful
