Hi Everyone! Just wanted to share a really Cool picture my son and his girlfriend took of the Space Needle at the Seattle Center, when they went there for a Romantic Dinner the first week of December. ;D  |

Yes there is a very nice, expensive restaurant located there and we also have a local TV News Station who broadcasts directly from the Space Needle.

When I was a kid back in the 60's my Dad took our family to Seattle for the Worlds Fair. We were living in my home City of Tacoma then, a 30 mile drive to Seattle. Anyway, I remember taking a ride up into the Space Needle, at the time the restaurant only served hamburgers, fries and drinks. It was So Awesome, I remember! Elvis Presley was filming his movie 'It Happened at the World's Fair' and I was able to catch a glimpse of him ;D When I think back on this memory I realize how 'Lucky' I was to grow up in the 60's  |

Reminds me of when I was a kid and we used to go on vacations and we went up the ST. Louis arch. That was very cool too. I remember it vividly unlike most of my childhood which I have forgotten.

Yeah......I had forgotten all about my trip to the space needle until my son took this picture and I posted it here! Many fond childhood memories........LOL

& Welcome! As you can see this forum looks a little different than it did before due to an upgrade from V4 to V5....not sure I like the way it looks now so I will work on some tweaking to make it look better..Please bare with me as I make changes
