I'm not sure what the Marathon is over there; is it when they run 26miles,? or is there one for cyclists: The tour de France is across the whole of France and usually takes about 3 weeks; they do so many miles a day: yesterday they were cycling for about 8 hrs: they do the race; and time trials as well: they go up some pretty steep hills; right up into the mountains:There is an american who used to do it; called Lance Armstrong; I think he won it a couple of t imes: People come from all over the world; and some follow the whole race in camper vans!

Lance Armstrong!!! We American's know him well..... Sounds like a marathon to me! The same rules apply etc. etc. Yep, my son-in-law Mike is a Huge fan of Lance Armstrong's! Mike is Big into cycling, even getting my daughter Shannon hooked. They are always going on road & mountain trips with their bikes.
