My sentiments exactly I do have family in California but they're in Bakersfield, 100 miles away from the fires.

So I take it you have a lot of fires in New Mexico? We don't get too many here on the Northwest Coast but Eastern Washington sure gets their share of fires, especially in the summer months. We get a lot of rain where I'm located.... hehehe.... we have been known to have web feet too....... hehehe..........

I reckon we'll be growing webbed feet soon; had a few days of rain; not a lot but enough to be a nuisance; i worried about fires in the summer; it was so dry here;and we have a lot of forests surrounding us:All my dogs have webbed feet; perhaps that why they like swimming so much:

We don't get too much of that around here... but when we do it's a media frenzy on the weather channels....... So funny too! If we get a few inches of snow for any length of time they call it an Extreme Weather Warning..... hehehe... Too many just don't know how to drive in the snow, so it's called extreme weather....how humiliating is that!
