yesterday was definately one of those days; First thing we had to move the horses to another field;,no problem until we took the tack off the horses in the new field; the first two we took; fredric and candy; bolted off; out of sight; the girls took chase; I followed on at a more leisurely pace; it was about 2 miles up and down tracks;I eventually caught up with the girls who had caught the horses and were taking them back to the field: i walked back, just about made it: when we got home; we found one dead puppy, or what was left of it; we think the lurcher had eaten it: the other dog gave birth to two more live puppies; meanwhile; Tom and the girls had to take the other horses to the new field: I stayed with the mum; she had another 4 puppies and eventually settled down wth them; then the rest of the family returned; Sandi had been thrown off one of the horses and was having trouble breathing;Our French friend came with us to the hospital;two hours later we got home; nothing broken, but badly bruised: Thought I needed an early night; good idea; except mum and babies in our room; all night they wined and dined!! now hubby says his very tired and gone to bed for a nap!! MEN!!!

Yes! It sure does sound like you had one of Those days! I'm So glad your daughter was OK after falling! Those Darn horses ~ sounds like they just wanted some running time. The horses out back here will do that too ~ just all of a sudden one or two of them will take off galluping ~ fast too ~ hehehe!
I'm sooo sorry about the poor little puppy, that's just awful what happened ~ )0;
I guess Men Are All alike! My day is like yours ~ full of surpises ~ never a dull moment! My husband sits in his recliner all day with his legs up (when he's not at work sitting while he's driving his truck.) He falls asleep in his chair and then goes to bed extra early asking me to keep it down, since I'm still up cleaning the kitchen after dinner. Forget Super Man! They should make a movie about Super Woman!
