Well, Buddy had his appointment yesterday and I was sure that Dr. Tate would give Buddy a clean bill of health but unfortunately that didn't happen The appointment was set up for another urine test after Buddy had finished his new medication (in Buddy's first story.) He's been doing well since being off the medication and the doctor even commented on how good he looked. The appointment only took a half hour to re take the test and I was actually checking out when the doctor approached me to say he had the results. Buddy who I thought was fine, now has a elevated red and white blood count something he never had before. He had a high white cell count his first visit and then on his second visit his white cell was normal but his red cell count was high but now "Both" are high? Dr. Tate said Buddy still has some kind of infection going on so he prescribed yet another antibiotic for him called "Baytril." He wants Buddy on this medication for 2 weeks and then bring him in for yet another urine test.... OMGosh! What's going on with Buddy? I'm really worried now because of what the doctor told me the last time I took him in. Please say a prayer for Buddy that he is completely cured of what ever it is that he has!

Buddy seems fine to me but the doctor is concerned with his elevated white and red cell count in his urine I'm not sure what this means but until Buddy finishes his 3rd antibiotic which should be in 10 days he won't be seeing the doctor again. At that time the doctor will do another urine test to see if the results have changed. I sure hope this finally clears up the problem Buddy is having!

Maybe it is his body shedding whatever problem that he had and the anti biotic is working to get rid of the bug.....I would like to think so because he is acting like his normal self, and we both know that a sick animal does not act like themselves when they do not feel good. I hope I worded that right.

Time will tell if he's over with the infection or not We're going camping this weekend for the Teamsters picnic and I will be taking the dogs. Buddy hasn't been camping for a couple years now so hopefully he has fun. I know both the dogs enjoyed it the last time I took them with me camping. My sister will be taking her 3 Bishons and Buddy and Scruffy just love seeing the girls My sister's brother and sister-in-law are also coming with their dogs (not sure how may they have) but my dogs have never met them so hopefully there isn't a problem with that (like a dog fight.)

We had a great time! ;D One larger dog named Matty and Buddy didn't like each other very much so we just kept them separate from each other. )o; Let's see, there were 12 dogs total, all small except for Matty who is part Lab and There were 13 adults total including 3 of my boys, my daughter and her husband. The weather was great and the campsite we chose was spacious enough for 2 very large tents and 4 smaller tents plus 2 very large motor homes "32 feet" long and we still had lots of room! The campsite was just above the clubhouse so we had easy access to toilets, showers, kitchen facilities etc.. Down below the clubhouse was the beach of "Harstien Island." This Island belongs to the Teamsters Local 313 who are all Truck Drivers. We all sat around the campfire at night telling camp tales (o; roasting hot dogs and marshmallows for smores. In the morning I made fresh camp coffee, pancakes, eggs and sausage (for those that eat sausage )o; anyway) and sat by the fire eating while telling more camp tales. It sure was a lot of fun! On Sat. the Annual Teamsters Picnic was held with lots of food, games and prizes. They had a horseshoe tournament which my brother-in-law won the last time we went to one of these and he isn't even a Teamsters, LOL! They also had a raffle for prizes but none of us won )o; Oh Well! There's always next year My son- in law took pictures, so as soon as I get them I'll post them here
