Awwww what gorgeous horses Looks like they're very happy too It looks like they have a lot of roaming space in the field. How many acres of field are there? The field reminds me of the pasture behind my home where my neighbors horses are kept. They own 28 acres of property. One of my questions has been answered here from the other thread. I can see that you Do ride your horses (in the third photo.)

Do any of you compete on your horses; my daughters were at shows every weekend in England but over here in France there is so much paper work; all the horses have to be registered; microchipped; registered again;we have been here just over a year and still haven't been able to take them to a show;the girls even had to take a riding test; they'd been riding nearly 30yrs and one was an qualified instructor and the other a show judge; that didn't count for anything here; even to enter little club level shows; sooo much paper work; its a joke!

No sorry, my horses are my neighbors. I can ride them but I don't know if they have ever competed in any shows. I can ask if I see the owners. I can't believe what they are putting you through over there though. It seems if your daughters have years of experience in showing and riding horses they shouldn't be giving you such a hard time

what the annoying thing about all the agro; if you see the way the French ride;well! my daughter said just forget everything you ever been taught and then you ride like dead spiders; We spent a few days in Tuscon a couple of years ago and stayed at the Lazy K ranch;my daughters did cattle penning and roping and the rancher said they were the best riders he'd had staying: we bought a couple of western saddles back and they really enjoy riding western; I'll try and get a pic of them up on the sight

I agree Pelly! The whole thing is ridiculous! Western riding is what my neighbors do with their horses. I have some pictures under this category with the owners on horse back. They look like they're right out of a western movie Can't wait to see the pics of your daughters riding
